Meet Our Team
Amanda Flores has lived in Orange County her entire life. She graduated from Esperanza High School and recently from San Fransisco State University. She ran all four years of high school for Esperanza's cross country and track teams. Amanda's interest in long distance running began when she was just ten years old. A close friend asked if she wanted to go for a run. Amanda then began training for long distances and competing in local races through her 5th and 6th grade years as her love for the sport grew. For two years, Amanda stopped running competitively; but never losing that love for the sport, she quickly found her way back to it once she began high school. Amanda began her time as a coach for a cheerleading squad, and helped to make a winning National Championship team out of them. She has now found her way to coaching a few nights a week for CPR and loves it. Amanda has a passion for helping kids to reach their goals and gain confidence in themselves. She wants to help young children to work hard, have fun, and find the love for running that she found at a young age herself.
