Meet Our Team
Austin Human has lived in Orange County his whole life. As a long-time cyclist, Austin picked up triathlon training in middle school and later focused primarily on running at Esperanza High School where he was a varsity letterman on two CIF State Championship qualifying teams. This was followed by an individual effort in distance running during college. He received his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and handles CPRunner’s website and social media accounts. Austin has volunteer experience as a Tae Kwon Do instructor and currently works for the City of Yorba Linda in the Parks and Recreation department where he coaches recreational volleyball and hosts various adult sports leagues as well as other city events.
The goal Austin has is to provide pre-high school runners with valuable knowledge and experience in an encouraging team environment to prepare them to take on a highly competitive field that is high school athletics. His training focuses on team work and encouragement as well as accentuating the fundamentals of running form and injury prevention. Additionally, Austin believes that running as a sport should be an opportunity to set and achieve goals, make friends, and have fun. He truly admires seeing a young athlete amaze themselves with the progress they make through hard work and determination.
